My journey to photography wasn’t a straight line. After graduating from Texas A&M, I spent years working as an ICU nurse before my husband and I followed a call into full-time ministry with international students. Along the way, as we started our family, I picked up a 35mm camera to document life with our growing crew. That camera started it all.
It began with taking photos at ministry conferences, and then years later, capturing my oldest daughter’s senior portraits. Her friends asked for sessions, then so did the friends of my second daughter, and so it grew—organically and beautifully.
Today, I specialize in working with seniors and families because I love capturing the in-between—the joy, the nerves, the quiet confidence of becoming. There’s something sacred about preserving fleeting seasons through light-filled, timeless images that reflect each person -- and every connection -- just as they are. My goal is not only to create beautiful portraits, but also to offer a relaxed, joy-filled experience that feels just as meaningful as the photos themselves.
